Ali Zafar
A musician, composer, singer, song writer, actor, painter and model; Ali Zafar has carried many hats since his inception into the entertainment industry. Ali made his debut as a musician with the album ‘Huqa Pani’, which was released in Pakistan in 2003 and worldwide in 2005. He immediately received massive fan following internationally and won several available awards and nominations. He was described by The Hindu as “Take a Kishore Kumar-like voice, club it with yuppie Ibiza-ish electronic beats, and add a bit of nostalgic lyrics.
After releasing many successful music albums, Ali Zafar made his Bollywood debut with the comedy film, ‘Tere Bin Laden’ (2010), which was a success both critically and commercially and grossed Rs. 15 Cr at the Box Office. His second Bollywood film was recently released ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, produced by Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films.
Ali Zafar has won many accolades in the form of MTV Style Awards and Lux Style Awards. Incidently, he was voted as the 5th Sexiest Man of Asia by ‘Eastern Eye’ in 2011.
