Mallika
Known for her bold screen presence and the kissing scenes in her movies, Mallika Sherawat is one of the hottest divas in the Bollywood Film Industry.
Before making her Bollywood debut, Mallika appeared in television commercials with Amitabh Bachchan for “BPL” and Shahrukh Khan for “Santro”. Her performace was noticed in her second film ‘Khwaish’ (2003). In 2004, her strong performance in ‘Murder’ earned her the nomination for the “Best Actress” at the Zee Cine Awards. The film became one of the biggest hits of the year, grossing over Rs. 24 Cr at the Box – Office.
She was both criticaly and commercially praised in the movie ‘Pyaar Ke Side Effects’, which did moderately well at Box- Office. Mallika also played a guest role in Himesh Reshammiya’s ‘Aap Ka Suroor – The Real Love Story’ and reportedly charged Rs. 1.5 Cr for a 10 min appearance.
Mallika is one of the few Bollywood stars who featured in a couple of Hollywood movies, ‘Hiss’ (2010) and ‘Politics of Love’ (2011).
